Music News: After ignoring several avertisments from her
parol officer, Paris Hilton must face a dreadfull decision, jail.
Well it
finally comes to this: Paris must
go to jail on 5 june 2007,
after she was caught driving without license: “Hilton
disregarded everything … and didn’t care and kept driving,” Superior Court
Judge Michael Sauer said.
“I’m shocked and disappointed at the sentence (handed
down) by the judge,” her attorney Howard Weitzman said. “To sentence Paris
Hilton to jail is uncalled for, inappropriate and ludicrous. She was singled
out for who she is. She’s been selectively targeted. Paris was
honest in her testimony. We plan to appeal. Shame on the system.”

Music News: Usher's mother has been his manager since he was a teen, but now the superstar says he wants her to be just "mom."
The Grammy winner confirmed Monday that Jonnetta Patton is no longer in
charge of his career, but denied the break was due to any rift.
"She and I are on great terms and support each other in our life's
endeavors. We are both very happy but are now working in different
areas of the business," he said in a statement to The Associated Press.
"This is great for me because it means I now get to have my mother
strictly as my mother with no added pressure."

Music News: The Police convene in Vancouver this week to begin final preparations
for their slavishly anticipated reunion tour, which begins there on May
28 -- preceded by a special fan club show the night before.
"It's feeling really good," guitarist Andy Summers
tells Billboard.com. "It should take a slightly different shape now
because in a couple weeks the stage arrives and the lighting and
everything and we have to kind of choreograph the show with that. We've
all been playing for another 20 years, so I think we're actually much
better players than we were even in the Police in the early days."
