Leelee Sobieski, 27, says working alongside the hearthtrob on ‘Public Enemies’ was a dream come true because she has been a fan for so long.
She revealed: “I had a crush on Johnny when I was six years old. I loved him in ‘Cry-Baby.’”
Marion Cotillard also praised Johnny and their other co-star Christian Bale, marvelling at their commitment to the film.
She
said: “Both are so intense and so committed and generous. a really hard
question: How do you compare something unique to something unique?”
The cast all enjoyed working together and there was a mutual respect between the two lead actors in particular.
Johnny gushed: “We are both fellas, and both dads, and both in the same profession. He’s very good, and tremendously talented.”
In response, Christian praised the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star, saying: “He’s a very unique actor. And I admire his work.”
