| Chris Brown Skips 180-day Community Labor for Concert |

 When you’re a celebrity like Chris Brown, you can bend the laws in your favor. So Chris Brown thought he’s career it’s more important then serving the 180-day community labor, and so he’s going to perform on October 27 alongside Fabolous, The-Dream, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson, Mario, Ginuwine and Day26, Mtv.com reports: It looks like Chris Brown will take a break from his 180-day community labor service sentence next month to headline Power 105.1's Powerhouse concert at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Brown, 20, will perform October 27 alongside Fabolous, The-Dream, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson, Mario, Ginuwine and Day26. Images of Brown clearing brush and trash emerged last week as the singer began his six-month community labor stint as part of his sentence for assaulting Rihanna in February, but Virginia officials have declined MTV News' requests for more information on the schedule for the singer's duties or any possible travel stipulations imposed by a California judge. The show in support of the New York urban radio station is the first major promotional event Brown has participated in to hype the release of his upcoming album, Graffiti; a rep for the singer told MTV News that no release date for the LP has been set. The album's first single, "Transformer," featuring Lil Wayne and produced by Swizz Beatz, is slated to drop soon. Beatz recently spoke to MTV News about the song, which he called "phenomenal." Despite initially being wary about working with Brown, Beatz said he counseled the singer to keep his head down and get to work. The result, the producer said, was that Brown is "on fire" after working on 60 or 70 songs for the album. |

 Shakira’s fiance is really trying to keep Shakira just for him, and not share her forms with everybody else. It seems he was overprotective with Shakira while filming her latest music video, music-news.com reports: The sexy singer dances provocatively in a cage wearing a skimpy outfit in the promo for 'She Wolf’, but admits partner Antonio de la Rua wasn’t impressed when he saw her lack of clothing. She said: 'He was with me when I filmed the video and he just said to me, 'Are you going to put on a scarf?’ as he thought I might get cold! And I did! After that video every muscle in my body was aching.' In the video, Shakira shows off her belly dancing skills and revealed she taught herself all the moves from a very young age. I guess it’s understandable when you have a fiance like Shakira. |

 Here’s a celebrity that is always looking for new ways to expand his career. No other then Johny Depp is now thinking to start directing music videos, as the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor was spotted somewhere in the UK shooting the new promo for the British band Babybird, RadarOnline relates: 'A scruffy Johnny Depp was snapped in the UK on the set of a Babybird music video he is directing. 'The video, which was shot over two days at Hatfield House, stars Babybird lead singer Stephen Jones and 'Snatch’ actor Stephen Graham.' Johnny was spotted on set sporting a beanie hat, heavy jacket and white-rimmed glasses. The 46-year-old actor is known to be a fan of the band, who are best known for their 1996 hit 'You’re Gorgeous’. If he’s going to be as successful as his acting career is, then these British guys should better stick with him. |

Marilyn is a tough guy and he’s not feeling as bad as you might think, actually he’s even making fun of the disease saying: "I know everyone will suggest that f***ing a pig is how this disease was obtained. However, the doctor said my past choices in women have in no way contributed to me acquiring this mysterious sickness. Unfortunately, I am going to survive. M [sic]." |

Rumors are her partner in crime is no other then Kanye West, nme.com reports: A promo video to promote the upcoming 'Fame Kills' tour of Lady GaGa and Kanye West has appeared online. Only 31 seconds long the video shows a mystery man carrying GaGa in slow motion before the words 'Fame Kills' pops up and a voice - which sounds like West - says the title of the joint tour.  LL Cool J, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kiss are among the latest nominees for induction in the Rock Hall of Fame, nme.com reports: Going up against returning candidates like The Stooges and ABBA, 5 of the 12 nominees will be chosen for induction in January once the ballots of the 500 music industry voters has been cast. "It's a real honor to be nominated in our first year of eligibility." Said Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith to Billboard.com. "Obviously the Hall of Fame has excellent musical taste." He added. An announcement of the inductees is expected in January, while the 25th Annual Induction Ceremony will take place on March 15 at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City.  It’s been quite a while since Britney Spears did something important with her career other then wondering around in bikini, flashing her things for the paparazzi. However she’s now concentrating on her career again and it seems she’s already lunching a new album, hopefully in November 2009, MTV.com reports: While she's still on the road promoting her most recent album, Circus, through September 27 in Las Vegas (and in Australia through November 29), Britney Spears is already breaking out yet another new release. The pop star will celebrate her 10 years in the game by releasing The Singles Collection on November 24, and a new single, "3," is set to come out next Tuesday. According to a release posted on BritneySpears.com , The Singles Collection will be available for purchase as a standard set and a packaged box set. The standard set will include 17 of her biggest hits. The ultimate fan box set will contain all 29 of Spears' singles individually packaged in slip sleeves with their original artwork and B-sides or remixes. The box set will also include a DVD with all of Brit's videos from past to present and a photo booklet with various photos spanning her career. Spears released her first greatest-hits collection, My Prerogative, back in 2004. Britney recorded "3" with Max Martin, the mastermind behind her legendary pop tune, "... Baby One More Time." In mid-July, Spears tweeted a message hinting at her collaboration with the producer. "Back in the studio with Max!" said Spears while in Sweden on her Circus tour, which Spears' camp claims is the highest-grossing tour of 2009.  It seems Jay-Z is not very happy with Lil Mama Invasion at the VMAs, as he called Angie Martinez’s Hot 97 Radio Show to talk for the first time about the incident. If you’re not up do date you should know that Lil Mama was so overwhelmed with inspiration when she saw Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performing live on the VMAs stage, that she couldn’t help herself not to go right beside them and sing along, MTV.Com reports: During the MTV Video Music Awards on September 13, Lil Mama crashed the stage during the show's finale, the debut performance of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind." Jay called Angie Martinez's Hot 97 radio show to talk for the first time about Mama's move. "To interrupt that moment for us, I don't think that was the right thing to do," Jay said. Jay also compared the Mama incident to Kanye West spoiling Taylor Swift's winning moment. "It was a lot of planning that went into that performance. To disrupt that was outta line," he said. Hov also said Mama's actions angered him, but there wasn't much he could do when she came onstage uninvited. "What I'mma do, fight Lil Mama?" Mama told MTV News, in the wake of the incident, that she came onstage because she was overwhelmed with inspiration. Alicia Keys told the "Today" show that she and Jay wished Mama had stayed in the crowd. "We can appreciate her being overwhelmed and inspired," Keys said, "but we would have appreciated it if she would have did it from her seat." Well, at least she didn’t trash Jay-Z performance, like Kanye West did, although Lil Mama should know better not to interfere with someone else’s performance, especially when there’s Jay-Z on stage.  For those of you who are still listen to the Fabulous Four , here are some facts you may not know about them : 1. Impossible as it may sound there are still Beatles songs unreleased - the most notable ones being Carnival of Light (an experimental piece recorded on 5 January 1967 for The Million Volt Light and Sound Rave) and a 27-minute jam of Helter Skelter. A John Lennon composition the three surviving Beatles worked on in the early '90s prior to the Anthology release called Grow Old with Me also remains unreleased. 2. The Beatles (or at least half of it) sang for the Rolling Stones: Lennon and Paul McCartney provided backing vocals to the 1967 single We Love You. 3. Besides writing hundreds of songs for the Beatles, Lennon and McCartney also wrote dozens of songs for other artistes such as From A Window (Billy J. Kramer with The Dakotas), One and One Is Two (The Strangers with Mike Shannon), Step Inside Love and It's For You (Cilla Black), Come and Get It (Badfinger) and Woman (Peter and Gordon). 4. The Beatles’ third studio album A Hard Day’s Night is the only one to exclusively contain Lennon-McCartney compositions. 5. Paul is not McCartney's first name, James is. Lennon changed his middle name from Winston to Ono after marrying Yoko Ono in 1969. |
