Jessica Simpson's father, Joe is annoyed by his daughter's refusal to host a New Year Eve's gig in Las Vegas.

Apparently, the family feud cropped up when 'Pure' nightclub approached Papa Simpson, to have Jessica host the New Year's Eve party for a large sum of money, according to TMZ. But, Jess turned down the offer, as she wanted to spend a mellowed down New Year, especially after the Dolly Parton tribute debacle.

When Papa Joe realised that his daughter's idea of a quite party meant hanging out with newfound boyfriend, singer John Mayer, at various New York hotspots, he fumed that his daughter partied for free.
