Wu-Tang star busted for marijuana

Method Man Music News: Method Man has been arrested amid allegations of possession of cannabis.

The Wu-Tang star was reportedly pulled over by police last week, after an officer noticed that the vehicle's registration had expired.

Method, real name Clifford Smith, was stopped on Thursday en route from Brooklyn to Manhattan, in his 2005 Lincoln Navigator.

Officer Donald Johnston claims to have smelled marijuana smoke eminating from the vehicle, before discovering two blunts and other drug paraphernalia.

According to the New York Post, Method later admitted to possession of 28 grams of the drug, before being taken into custody in Brooklyn.

On Friday, May 18, he was charged with unlawful and criminal possession of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle under the influence and driving an uninspected motor vehicle.

Wu-Tang Clan released their new album, 8 Diagrams, this summer will participate in the Rock The Bells tour this summer.
